The 51st Pokal Loka 2026 is just around the corner. We are accepting registrations until Monday from all those who would like to take part in this year’s competition, which will take place on 14 and 15 February at the Stari vrh ski resort.
This year’s event takes place at the same time as the Olympic Games in Italy, and we are proud and delighted that the Pokal Loka competition has served as a springboard for many young athletes on their path to competing in alpine skiing at the highest world level. Lucas Braathen, Petra Vlhová, Alice Robinson, Zrinka Ljutić, Albert Popov, Miha Hrobat, Žan Kranjec and Filip Zubčić are just some of the well-known names who competed at Pokal Loka not long ago and are now, already today, among the candidates for Olympic titles at this year’s Games.

Due to poor snow conditions at Soriška Planina, where the 50th Pokal Loka 2025 was originally planned, we have been forced to move the competition venue to the Kranjska Gora track. All other scheduled events will still take place in Škofja Loka. Your presence is especially welcome at the ceremonial parade of all teams, the competition opening, and the announcement of the first day's results, which will be held at the square below the Loški Castle in Škofja Loka. The event will be followed by a concert featuring a band that faithfully revives the memory of the globally popular group The Beatles.

We are thrilled to announce the 50th International Children's Ski Competition, taking place on February 15 and 16, 2025, in the beautiful town of Škofja Loka.
